Pictured is an example of the recycled glass and broken pottery mirrors I do. Each mirror incorporates broken pottery and pieces of recycled wine bottles and pop bottles, glass "beads" and found objects. Since every glass piece and found object is different, every mirror has its own unique identity. Like snow flakes, no two are exactly alike. These can be custom made in most any color. I choose glass that will compliment the base color of the pottery used. Reusing these items has come to hold a spiritual message for me. Just as we are all unique and have our own brokenness, so are these mirrors. But when we allow the Master Artist to work with us, he can make us into something truly beautiful despite our brokenness.
