Developing Different Choice Options for Products

I have learned that stating "custom orders" are welcome entices potential customers to order from me, even if it means tweaking what they want.

For instance, I had already designed white beach glass earrings with a copper swirl but recently someone asked if I could do them in sterling silver. I told her yes...but due to the higher cost of the sterling wire, I told her the cost would be a few dollars more. Pictured is the new option for this design. You can see both the original color choice and this new sterling choice on my white beach glass earring page. The customer was happy and so was I.
