The Christmas season is coming and I have been playing around with different designs for ornaments. Beach glass is one of my favorite mediums and the large pieces of frosted beach glass have always intrigued me.
I've had a friend after me to etch or paint on the glass I work with. So I decided to try it. This white porcelain paint gives the glass an etched look. I painted a freehand design of a deer in a winter setting. Another friend gave me some silver ribbon, which was the perfect accent to the frosted white glass. How did I drill the glass? I use a Dremel and a diamond drill bit and drill the glass partially in water....You can order these ornaments through my serendipitini.com website.
